It's been a while!

First of all, please accept my apologies for the long gap between my last blog and now. We've had a crazy few weeks getting everyone back into the studio (as I'm sure you all have) and rehearsing and streaming our first online performance with our new junior company BTUK2. Which I thoroughly enjoyed and was such a wonderful experience in developing our creativity in a different way.

I feel like we are in such a great position in our journey and reflecting on our learning as the past year has been such a crazy curve and re-evaluation for us all.

I'm keen to see how everyone else has got on with looking at themselves and their professional journey to get here. Have you found all of your learning experiences to be key moments or small habits you've developed on the way. Are they significant people in your journey or even anyone who has shown you what you don't want to be as a teacher? I'm just interested to hear how your careers have developed.

Mine has definitely been a journey through who I've met and the opportunities I've been given through these people. It's been an extremely natural progression. I believe this is one of the first times I've actively tried to really get myself out of my comfort zone and I'm still walking the thing line between developing myself and worrying I'm not developing enough. I wonder if that feeling will ever go? From the research we have done, I very much feel like there will never be an end to any thread we look into. Even if it was to be the abstract of the colour of a balloon, the channels out of that are endless. I realise that's a bit of a random suggestion, but that's where my brain is going today.

I hope you're all well and managing to enjoy the sunshine and top up your vitamin D! Hopefully speak to you soon. x
